The Lynx Application Suite is a software package with the power to synchronize and streamline several different aspects of a business. Whether your operation is small or large, keeping inventory, assets, employees, customers, and vendors organized and in control has never been easier.
Designed from the ground up to be efficient and fast, the Lynx Application Suite operates in a user-friendly environment to facilitate ease-of-use and to minimize training and technical support.
The Lynx Application Suite can be used by businesses both large and small by users both inexperienced and advanced.
Yes. If your business has multiple warehouses on site, or multiple geographical locations, Lynx Inventory Management can coordinate the flow of data from these sources ultimately reducing the number of errors associated with multiple sites. It will also increase your control by giving you the ability oversee your total inventory from all locations, inventory associated with specific jobs, inventory from a specific warehouse, and many others.
Yes. The Lynx Application Suite was designed to be scalable to the size of a multinational organization and facilitate dealing with business activities across multiple time zones. Timing is everything, and our software makes sure your timing is right on time, all the time.
In most cases, no. Lynx Application Suite has the ability to import and export data in the form of a .csv (comma separated value) file. Most other inventory management software has the ability to export the this type of file format. You will also be able to import your inventory database if you currently manage it using Microsoft Excel.
Our time clock uses RFID technology to eliminate paper, reduce data entry errors and keep track of employees in real-time.
There are no punch cards to lose or insert into the time clock incorrectly. There is no need to collect everybody's punch cards and pay an employee to tediously enter in everyone's data. There is no opportunity to enter the data incorrectly. In fact, there is no need to enter any data. As soon as an employee is punched in, this information is instantly reflected in the organization's database.
You can even run a report in the first thing in the morning that will tell you what employees are currently working, who is late, who was early, and who forgot to punch in, all without referencing any punch cards. And when it comes to paying your employees, it's as easy as exporting your time clock information into Quickbooks.
An Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag is a microchip combined with an antenna in a compact package. The tags can be attached to a key chain or lanyard for employees to keep on-hand. The RFID tag's antenna picks up signals from an RFID reader (the Time Clock) then returns the signal, usually with some additional data (like a unique serial number or other customized information).
Yes. Using the Lynx Time & Attendance Module you can punch in and out as many times as you would like during a shift. We can also configure the Time Clock to automatically punch employees in and out at specific times for scheduled smoke, coffee and lunch breaks, and have an automatic punch out at the end of the day.
We currently use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags as well as barcode labels to keep track of assets.
Yes, you can. If you can fix an RFID tag or a barcode to it, it can be tracked. For tires, rubber barcode labels can be attached to a tire wall.
Lynx provides an affordable RFID tag reader/writer in our store. If a tag gets lost or destroyed, you can simply program a new tag and affix it to your asset. In the case of a damaged barcode, you can simply print a new barcode, and stick it over the old one.
Lynx Point-of-Sale system is an excellent way to create a seemless selling process. The Lynx POS can synchronize with Lynx Inventory inventory, automatically removing the items sold, and inputting the money received directly into Quickbooks.
If you would like to see a demo of our point of sale system, you can make an appointment with us by telephone at (604) 288-1427 or you can email info@lynxsi.ca.
To gain access, users carry an RFID tag or card that is swiped infront of an RFID card reader. These credentials are highly secure and almost impossible to duplicate (much harder than a traditional key or combination code).
Absolutely. Within the Lynx Application Suite you can choose who has access to specific areas, with the ability to add or remove access permissions in real-time.
Yes. Timing rules can be added to permissions to prevent users from accessing areas of your business when you are not expecting them to.
